This little project started as a way to spend time with my nephews, Charles and Arthur. I wanted us to have something fun to work on together, something we could look back on and smile about.<\/p>
What began as a playful idea quickly became one of the most meaningful things I\u2019ve ever designed.<\/p>

I still remember Charles, at just three years old, saying \u201cLet\u2019s all be kind.\u201d<\/em> It was such a pure, honest thing to hear from a child, and it stuck with me ever since.<\/p> At the time, I even thought it could make a great name for a kids\u2019 clothing brand, but life carried on, but the idea stayed tucked away\u2026 until now. When I started Hye Society, I knew I wanted that phrase to finally live on a t-shirt.<\/p> <\/p> Arthur\u2019s design came about a little differently. When I asked what he\u2019d like to put on a t-shirt, his first suggestion made us all laugh. Let\u2019s just say it wasn\u2019t exactly family-friendly.<\/p> After a few laughs (and some gentle negotiations), we landed on \u201cAre you okay?\u201d<\/em> It felt perfect for him.<\/p> Arthur has always been very caring towards me, always running over to give me a hug when I pop over, or jumping on my lap to help him draw a Pok\u00e9mon. With a bit of help from my sister-in-law, we got both boys to write their words by hand, and I later digitised their handwriting using Illustrator and a custom crayon brush to keep that authentic, childlike feel.<\/p> <\/p> The moment they saw the final t-shirts, their faces lit up. Big smiles, full of pride and excitement. It wasn\u2019t just about making a product; it was about seeing something they created come to life.<\/p> Since these designs are also available in kids\u2019 sizes, it felt only right that each sale would help a children\u2019s charity. \u00a31 from every t-shirt goes to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children\u2019s Charity<\/strong>. An amazing organisation that supports children and their families through incredibly tough times.<\/p> Family has always been at the heart of Hye Society. I created the brand to leave something behind: a mark, a story, a piece of me.<\/p> These two designs capture a moment in time that I\u2019ll never forget, a reminder of laughter, innocence, and the simple messages that matter most.<\/p> Charles and Arthur poured their little hearts into these tees, and I couldn\u2019t be prouder of what they created. Their words say it all.
